(this is an older one) This is my wife... When we were both around 23 years old. During that time, the whole Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan thing was going down on the news. I was also airbrushing stuff at a flea market booth, and I had paintings up that I did of her. People were coming up and asking me what my "fascination with Today Harding" was. Apparently, my wife looked a lot like Tonya Harding. It didn't help that her name was Tanja, pronounced same, spelled different. A fun little anecdote...
